Alicante

The region of Alicante is located on the eastern coast of Spain and is part of the Costa Blanca, wedged between Murcia in the south, and Valencia in the north. The city of Alicante is on the coastline between Benidorm and Elche.

The area is well serviced by Alicante airport. Alicante is a holiday resort in itself and offers a wonderful city with great shopping.

Alicante is a first rate tourist centre thanks to it's splendid beaches, excellent climate and well known facilities. Attractions include the imposing Castillo de Santa Barbara (perched on a hill, it commands a good view of the coastline), the Explanada de Espana (the palm-lined promenade along the harbor) and the old Barrio de Santa Cruz (the part of town that preserves some of its ancient past).
